Different Levels of Accountability
Accountability partners are supportive relationships within the group that assists us in being responsible for our fellow believers and accountable to a life of growth as a disciple of Jesus Christ. They are not opportunities for manipulation and control.
Because of their voluntary nature, the form the accountability partnerships take is up to those in the relationship. Only they can decide as to how intimately they will relate to each other.
Following are possible levels of Accountability Partnership -
Basic:
- Pray for your partner daily
- Low key weekly contact either by phone or in person
Intermediate:
- Pray for your partner daily
- Meet weekly for prayer and fellowship
In depth:
- Pray for your partner daily
- Meet weekly for prayer and in depth accountability based on the 5 Christian Disciplines.
