LIFE GROUPS
Life Groups are small groups - the heart of God. Our Life Groups are the safe place in which we experience the true Christian journey.
- We can find a place of true fellowship.
- It's a place we can step out and try things we have never tried before. For the young Christian it may be simply praying out loud. For others it may be moving in the gifts.
- Leadership development takes place in the group. Opportunities are given to have hands on training. Experiences are offered in different areas and it is a safe place to learn and grow.
- Support is offered on a one to one basis. Individuals often pair up and spend time weekly outside of the cell meeting, developing a more in-depth relationship. They desire to grow as Christians and they understand the benefits of having someone walk alongside of them. This is otherwise known as Accountability.
- Encouragement is given for individuals to reach out into their communities. This may be their work place or a community group; many group members are doing RE in the schools. The other group members may be able to join in or support through prayer.
What happens when we get together:
- Welcome - A relaxed time together
- Loving God - Expressing out worship to God through prayer, personal testimony, song and many other ways.
- Reach Out - Working together to take Christ to our community.
- Grow - Influencing one another through the word, prayer and spiritual gifts.
